My website is not available?

It is of course super annoying if your website can no longer be reached. However, this can have several causes. To rule out possible problems, we would like to explain what you can do yourself to test what is going on and whether this only affects you or also other visitors.


Domain name is parked

You will see the message "Domain name is parked" after you have transferred your domain. In itself this is not a problem and can be solved very quickly. What you still have to do is link your domain name to your web hosting package. In this case, we kindly ask you to send a ticket to support. They will link your domain name to your account.


 


Apache is functioning normally

If you see the message "Apache is functioning normally" it means that you have not yet added your domain name to DirectAdmin. You can do this yourself via DirectAdmin control panel, if you can't figure it out, feel free to send our support a ticket.




My site is completely unreachable

If you do not receive a notification at all and your site is therefore completely offline, this can also have several reasons. It sounds stupid but check if it's on your side via the following "is it up" checker: https://isitup.org. When it is indicated here that the site is online, the problem is unfortunately internal to you. Therefore, check your internet connection.


If you receive the message that the site is completely offline, it is wise to check whether you have recently moved or registered your domain name. If you have only recently registered your domain, it will take an average of 6-8 hours (maximum 24 hours) before it will link to our servers. If you have moved your domain, you may have forgotten to confirm the verification email.


If none of the above situations are the case, we may unfortunately be experiencing a malfunction on your website or web server. Check our "help" page for a service message to see if there is a malfunction.


If your malfunction is not yet known to us, please send a support ticket immediately. Our team will then get to work immediately!
