Why are the changes to my website not immediately visible?

To make your website run extra fast, we use different caching methods in combination with Cloudflare CDN. After you make a change to your website, it may take a few minutes for all caching and Cloudflare CDN to adopt this change.

What is caching?

When a visitor views your website, your web server must very quickly look up all codes, images, texts and other files and send them to the visitor's web browser. To give your website an extra speed bonus, we make a copy (cache) of frequently visited pages that is immediately available.

What is Cloudflare CDN?

CDN stands for Content Delivery Network. Cloudflare is the largest network of servers worldwide where companies, including Maxvankekeren-IT, can upload their "caches" so that they are available worldwide. The CDN ensures that your website is physically as close as possible to your customers.
